What is 8K I hear you ask? 8K is a screen technology, and will eventually succeed 4K. It is essentially 16-times 1080p (or 4-times 4K) – hard to imagine, right? Well the below image shows what that actually looks like from a pixel perspective:
What resolution is 8K?
8K actually refers to the number of pixels horizontally. Screens will be 7680×4320 pixels, meaning they will actually look pixel-less from a few inches away – even in sizes of 80″+.
